Fundraising for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's "Light The Night" Walk on Thursday October 4

I have been in two minds about sharing this because I rarely mix my personal life with my kindle page. However, this is for an excellent cause and is a widespread issue, so I feel it's not totally inappropriate. I won't badger about this or post daily about it, but I do want to give our members an opportunity to help out if any want to. Even a $1 donation would be awesome - or sign up for an event in your area!

On October 4, my family will be joining the family, friends & congregation of our beloved Pastor J. David Panther & walking for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. David is a wonderful & humble man, much loved by everyone who knows him & a great spiritual leader. He was diagnosed with lymphoma a few months ago, and despite trying to get back to church at every chance, he continues with chemo and treatments for the upcoming months.

This walk is to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, in honor of Pastor J. David Panther. All benefits stay within the Pittsburgh area and benefit local cancer patients. Anyone who would like to learn more about it, or would like join one of the walks around the country, or to sponsor me, then visit my Light the Night Walk page.  (Note, any donations go directly to them, not me!) Thanks!
