Taking a Screenshot on Kindle

Sometimes I take screenshots to share tips, but it's useful for all sorts of things such as printing off a recipe (when copyright allows).

Kindle Paperwhite: At the same time, tap the top right and bottom left of your screen.

Kindle touch: Press and hold down the Home button & tap the screen, then release the Home button.

Kindle Fire HD/HDX:
With the Kindle Fire powered on, press and hold the Volume Down button and Power button at the same time for at least one second until you see the screen flicker. Release.

To access: Plug the kindle into a computer and access the Kindle. Screenshot GIF or PNG will be in a folder and can be copied to your PC.

Each kindle type has different folders: documents, books. internal storage. Click in and if you have many files then sort by type and look for the GIFs or PNGs.
